Lillian Irene Martin - Age 94 of Center Point, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 5, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rance Martin; son, Donald R. Martin; son-in-law, Charlie Eubank (Jerry), and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Martin (John). She is survived by her daughter and two sons, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; helpful and special friend, Jackie Coggins (John) and maid, ""go-for"" and special travel buddy Shelly Barlow (Roger). ""Granny"" will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest. ""Renie'"" was a long time resident of Center Point and a charter member of Centercrest Baptist Church. She was one of the first female real estate brokers in the country and owned her own real estate company. She and her husband had a long and successful career in the residential and commercial development business. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with anyone who was willing. Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with her service beginning at 2. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
