Albert Bader, owner of TL Livestock Sale Barn, passed away at the Bismarck Hospital April 6 at age 66. Funeral services were April 10 at TL Our Savior's with Rev L Larsen officiating. Interment in TL cemetery. Kesling FH in charge of arrangements.
Albert Bader was born Dec 19, 1898, at Kulm, ND, son of Gottfried and Carolina Bader. On March 26, 1921, he married Marie Pahl at Ellendale, ND.
They moved to a farm 15 miles north of TL in 1925. In 1952 they moved into TL and Mr. Bader purchased the sale barn.
He is survived by his widow Marie; four sons: Herbert, Louis, Raymond, and Edward all of TL; two daughters: Ruth (Paul) Garr of Isabel; Betty (Wilbur) DeGeest of Portland, OR; four brothers: Emil of Sand Point, ID; John of Portland, OR; Ted of TL; Dick of Wishek, ND; two sisters: Mary Werner of Lodi, CA; Mrs. William Pahl of Kulm; 16 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons: Arthur and Ervin; daughter Darlene; brother Samuel; three sisters: Rachel, Lydia, Matilda.
