Ricky Dean Wallace, 46, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Sulphur Springs. A Funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Quinlan with Rev. Eric Rothe Officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. Burial at IOOF Cemetery following services.
Ricky was born November 28, 1967 to Billy and Linda Wallace of Quinlan. He was a carpenter by trade but loved to "fry" anything, he may have invented the fried Twinkie before the State Fair. He was also an expert peanut butter cookie maker. Ricky never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He loved all children and they loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Valton and Opal Allison of Quinlan, B. Wallace and Mary Lee Gaston of Wills Point and nephew Nicholas Don Wallace of Royse City.
Ricky was loved and will be greatly missed by his mother, Linda Wallace of Quinlan; father and step-mother Billy and Bonnie Wallace of Point; sons Joshua Wallace of Van Alstyne; Danny Hollis of Quinlan; daughter Bobbi Jo Thrasher of Justin; brothers Billy Wallace and wife Michelle of Royse City, Johnny Wallace and wife Vivian of Quinlan,; sisters Frankie Raynor and husband Jay of Quinlan, Patsy Salinas of Quinlan; Step-brother Coy Allison and wife Debbie of Point; step-sister Crystal Deal of Point; nieces Ashley, Amanda, Autumn, Adrianne, Alexandra, Angelina, Ariel, Akira, Alyssa, Makenna, Chyann, Kylee and Nattalie; nephews Micah, Javin, Samuel, Evan, Valton, Hunner, Karson, Jaiden and Cameron.
