Tryphenia Call was the daughter of Mary Sanderson and Joseph Call. She married Joseph Howe about 1797, Vermont. They had two daughters, Electa, b. 1798/1799, NY, and Mary Lafronia, b. 1811, NY. Her husband died about 1822, probably Geauga Co., OH, area. Tryphenia then married her first cousin Asa Call, 25 Nov. 1823, Geauga Co., now Lake Co., OH. After Asa died in 1833, she went with her two daughters, who had married brothers Ezekiel and James L. Blue, to La Porte Co., IN. When James L. Blue and her daughter Electa moved to Dallas Co., TX, Tryphenia went with them. She can be found in the 1860 US Census of Precinct 5, Dallas Co., TX, p. 349, and died between 1860-1870.
