NEWTON, Jerry D .
Was born in Lancaster, Calif., on December 20,1939. For the last twenty years Jerry has enjoyed the peace and beauty of his home in California City, California. It is with great joy and sorrow that we announce Jerry went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Jerry is survived by, his loving wife of 30 years, Jacque and their 8 children. Jerry Wayne (Gayle), Carolyn Morgan (Russel), Catherine Meadors (James), Terry Newton (Melissa), Cheri Maynard (Dan), Jacque Ayres (Ed), Nikki Brasket, and Kelley Brasket (Jennifer). He was also "Grampa" to his 15 beautiful grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held in celebration of Jerry's life at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Mojave Assembly of God located at 16027 "M" Street, Mojave, Calif.
