Brooks Gunderson, 77, passed away July 11, 2009, beloved husband of the late Mary Jane, nee Bowser; loving father of John of Phoenix, AZ, Brooks of Plymouth, MN, Nadine of Phoenix, AZ, Mark (Sarah Rodhouse) of Lake Forest, IL and Colleen (Charlie) Schlatter of California; devoted grandfather of Julia, Quinn and Beck Schlatter of Oak Park, CA and J. Bridger and Brier Gunderson of Lake Forest, IL; dear brother David (Betty) of Placentia, CA and the late Ted (LaVonne) of Sioux Falls, SD; brother-in-law of Patricia Keup, nee Bowser, and Kathleen Gjerde, nee Bowser, of Minnesota. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews. Formerly of Minneapolis, MN and Northbrook, IL. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Westlake Village, CA. Interment Service Friday, July 17th at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL, with services beginning in the chapel there at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be named to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society c/o J.
