CLARKE, in this city, on Jan. 22nd, 1907, Mr. S.J. Clarke, at the age of 85. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, at 2 o'clock to the Church of the Redeemer. Interment in Union Cemetery.

Funeral of Mrs. Clarke
Yesterday afternoon the funeral of Mrs. Catherine Clarke was held. The funeral service was conducted at the residence of the deceased at 216 Twelfth avenue east. Very Rev. Dean Paget conducted the services. The interment was in the family plot of Alderman Clarke in the Union cemetery. The burial was conducted by Graham and Buscombe.
Mrs. Clarke was the mother of Ald. John Clarke, M. Clarke and Wm. Clarke. She had been here a number of years and was well known by the older citizens.
The burial was private, but the casket was nearly hidden by the numerous floral offerings of the friends of the deceased.
