Jerry G. Rowe, 74, of Lodi passed away on January 3, 2014 due to melanoma cancer. He was born in Sherman, Texas. He was resident of Lodi for 36 years. Jerry has been married to his wife of 53 years, Vonnell Hurst. He retired from Bank of America as Vice President in Stockton after 40 years with the company. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lodi. He is survived by his wife, Vonnell; son Steven Rowe of Dublin; daughter Linda Rowe of Gilroy; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by their baby daughter, Janet Marie.

Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 8, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9, at 11 a.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, First Baptist Church of Lodi, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A virtual guest register can be signed or memory shared at www.lodifuneralhome.com. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
