Helen O. Weigle, 95, of New Haven Court, Butler, formerly of North Drive, died at 11:52 p.m. Friday at New Haven Court.
Born in Butler, Oct. 8, 1909, she was the daughter of John and Margaret Snyder Tack.
She was a 1931 graduate of Grove City College and retired in 1973 as an educational therapist at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she worked since 1955. She previously had been a high school business teacher in Monaca and in Hartford, Ohio.
Mrs. Weigle was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Frank J, Weigle, died Dec. 4, 1967. A son, Donald Bastress, died in 1952.
Surviving are a brother, John C. Tack of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
WEIGLE - Friends of Helen O. Weigle, who died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Philip Williams, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Wood Cemetery, Sharon.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Butler County Unit, 106 N. McKean St., Butler, PA 16001.
