"Sir Run Run Shaw GBM CBE (23 November 1907 – 7 January 2014) was a Hong Kong media mogul and philanthropist. He was one of the most influential figures in Asia entertainment industry. He co-founded the well-known Shaw Brothers Studio, which was the one of the largest film production companies in the world and the Television Broadcasts Limited, which remains the dominating television company in Hong Kong."
