W. Collins, Fort Worth Pioneer Merchant, Dies
Fort Worth, Texas, Jan. 13 -- Warren Collins, 70 years old, died at his residence, 1601 Eighth avenue, Thursday morning. He had lived in Fort Worth since 1884, coming here from Wisconsin. Mr. Collins was one of the founders of the Collins-Armstrong Music Company here.
Funeral services will be held both at the residence and at the First Presbyterian Church Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Henry S. Collins, Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. M. E. Terry, a missionary in China; a brother, Frank Collins, Fort Worth, and four grandchildren.
