CADIZ, Ky. — Addie Lee Hyde Mathis, 88, Cadiz, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2001, at her home of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial will be in Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 this afternoon.

A native of Trigg County, she was born Nov. 20, 1912, the daughter of the late Porter Mason and Otis Sanders King.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church. Her husband, Woodrow Hyde, died in 1961. A son, Jimmie Hyde, and a daughter, Betty Ann Hyde, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Wallace, Jackie and Bobby Hyde, all of Trigg County; a daughter, Mrs. Deon (Nancy) Fox, Caldwell County; four sisters, Grace Williamson and Mary Ethel Jones, both of Trigg County, Rebecca Fowler, Caldwell County, Lucille Griffin, Calloway County; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
