Capt. James "Jimmy" Gurbisz was one of two soldiers killed when an improvised explosive device detonated near their Humvee,according to the Department of Defense. CPT Gurbisz was a 2002 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is survived by his parents and his wife.
