He and brother Loren purchased Ford dealer from Orville Pickett. Operated until 1960. Sold to Guy Martin.
He and wife Lenora then bought Insurance business.
One of original city commissioners, later to commission manager from 1956-1960. Before coming operated a machine shop in Fort Stockton, Texas. Survived by wife Lenora, 2 brothers Loren and Herman. Sisters Molly Tyler, Emma Hillger, Mrs Helen Schafer.
