He is survived by: his children, Donald R. Poe, II, of Bedford, Kentucky, Daniel J. Poe, of Williamstown, Kentucky, and Rebecca "Becky" Sharpe, of Pendleton County, Kentucky; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, James Halford Poe, of Pendleton County, Delmar Poe, of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Michael Poe, of Milford, Kentucky; and five sisters, Jenny Fox, of Falmouth, Dee Golfman, of Falmouth, Mae Sorrell, of Foster, Vanessa Carr, of Foster, and Lynda Roever, of Hillsboro, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother, Shelby Poe.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, in Augusta. Burial will be at Johnsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
