Graveside services for David Allen Amos, 50, of Longview will be at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Rosewood Cemetery in Gilmer, with Brother Charles Johnson, Brother Wayne Whiteside and Eddie Napps officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. David passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 as a result of an auto accident. David was born January 22, 1962 in Upshur County, Texas to Charles O. Amos and Sarrah Ann Martin Amos. He was an engineering electrician in the oilfield industry and a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Two brothers, Steve Amos and Frank Amos. David is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Rick Lange of Germantown, Tennessee, one niece, Stephanie Lange of Germantown, Tennessee, one nephew, Derek Amos of Longview and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
