   Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha K. Buckley of 738 St. Louis St. have been set for 2 p.m. Friday from St. John's Methodist Church with interment in Valley View Gardens of Memory. Officiating will be the Rev. James L. Nettleton and Dr. Clyde Funkhouser of Lebanon.
   Mrs. Buckley died Tuesday at 5:55 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Alton, where she had been a patient 10 weeks.
   Born May 7, 1893 at Annapolis, she was the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Arminda Hart McGovern. A former resident of Staunton, she had made her home in Edwardsville since 1932. Married twice, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. O.R. Keenan, on May 31, 1945. She married Atty. Leland H. Buckley, who survives, on Feb. 14, 1947 in Edwardsville.
   Also surviving are three step-sons, Donald and Milton L. Buckley of Edwardsville and Leland H. Jr. of Moline; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Strawn of Barrington; and a brother, Arlo McGovern of Albuquerque, N.M.
   Mrs. Buckley was elected in April, 1964 as president of the 22nd district, Illinois Federation Women's Club. She was a past president of the Monday Club and past matron of Staunton Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church, the Women's Society of Christian Service and Wesleyan Bible Class, and Edwardsville Chapter 667, Order of the Eastern Star.
   Visitation will be at Lesley Marks Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday. The body will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Contributions may be made to St. John's memorial fund and the Edwardsville cancer fund.

Pallbearers were Gordon Burroughs, Truman May, Ray Wenger, Herman Peek, Ernest Tosovsky Sr., and Lee Dustmann.
