Bullie E. Willis, 89, of Bradenton, died June 12, 2002, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Avenue W. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Samoset First Baptist Church, 3200 15th St. E., with the Rev. Roland Davis officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, P.O. Box 9571, Bradenton, Fla. 34206 or to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 8190, Lakeland, Fla. 33802.

Born in Emanuel County, Mr. Willis came to Manatee County from Soperton, Ga., in 1958. He was employed at the University of Florida Experimental Station and the Manatee County Highway Department. He was a member of Samoset First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rita A.; two daughters, Ann Kennedy and Kelli S. Kennedy, both of Bradenton; and two sister, Mazie McKenzie of Morrow, Ga., and Ruby Walker of Soperton.
