Age 95 - Son of the late Karolina (Bomba) and Stanley Lezon. Husband of Margaret M. (Bogel) Lezon.
During World War II, Ted served with distinction in the U.S. Army, 9th Infantry Division, in campaigns in North Africa and Sicily, landed on Utah Beach on D-Day, and took part in the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of Hurtgen Forest. He received an honorable discharge in August 1945. Among his citations, he was awarded the Bronze Star.
Brother of late Walter Lezon, Joseph Lezon, Blanche Barkowski, Rose Arcisz, all formerly of Ipswich, and Mary Sucharski, formerly of Manchester-by-the-Sea.
Survived by his wife; a son, Theodore J. Lezon Jr. and his wife, Sia, of West Newbury; four daughters, Nancy A. Walsh and her husband, Martin, of Middleton, Kathleen M. Cameron and her husband, Richard, of Wyckoff, N.J., Margaret M. Foster and her husband, James, of Ipswich, and Jane L. Lezon Hamilton, and her husband, Paul Mooney of Telluride, CO.
Also survived by 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Goot of Ipswich, and Winifred Klimka, of Albuquerque, N.M.; and many nieces and nephews.
