Waskom, TX - Graveside services for William "Fred" Carson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday January 6, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Pastor Eric Peyton. The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.

Fred was born in Shreveport, LA January 10, 1928 and passed away on January 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Irene Carson and wife Murial Brown Carson. Left to cherish his memory is his sons Stephen and William Michael Carson. Daughters', Donna Clements and Becky Pyle; with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Fred was veteran of the US Navy and serving in WWII. He retired as an Equipment Operator for Bell South where he worked for over 40 years.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church Waskom, 185 Colquitt St., Waskom, TX.
