Jerry Carter Crumpton, Sr., 67, of Hindsville, Arkansas, died January 2, 2014 at the Northwest Medical Center of Springdale. He was born May 1, 1946 at Tompkinsville, Kentucky, the son of Luther R. and Ora Ethel Hope Crumpton. He had retired from the United States Navy and was a member of the Hindsville First Baptist Church and the Fleet Reserve.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Pamela Crumpton of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, J. C. and Chrissi Crumpton of Bentonville, Arkansas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann Crumpton of Hindsville, Arkansas, Tammy and Joseph Chiang and Pam and Chris Rogers, all of Springdale, Arkansas; one brother, Richard Crumpton of Summerside, Ohio; two sisters, Reva Lester of Glasgow, Kentucky and Earlene Crumpton of Florida; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock A. M. Tuesday, January 7, at the Hindsville First Baptist Church with The Reverends Les Elam and Terry Simmons officiating. Interment will military honors will be in the Colbaugh Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Monday at the funeral home.
