Herbert McKinley Westfall, 88, of Ravenswood, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 1987, in Jackson General Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late John and Barbara Raines Westfall. He was a Protestant and a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Emma Westfall; one daughter, Jean Gearhart of Warren, Ohio; two sons, Robert Westfall of Ravenswood and Roger Westfall of Warren, Ohio; one sister, Velma Parrish of Lisbon, Ohio; one brother, Dennis Westfall of Lisbon, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six sisters and one brother. Services were Monday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
