Miss Elaine Elliott, 79, of the Thurston Community of Upson County, died Sunday, January 5th, 2014 at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Miss Elliott will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Wright will officiate and burial will follow in the Hendricks Baptist Church Cemetery.
Miss Elliott was a life-long resident of the Thurston Community. She was a daughter of the late Tyrone Elliott and Clemmie Lewis Melton Elliott. She worked for several years at Elliots Store and Restaurant.
Miss Elliott took an active role in the Crest and Thurston Community. She was a member of the Thurston Community Club and the Thurston Homemakers Club.
She was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church and belonged to the Fellowship Happy Hearts.
Miss Elliott is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Bobbie Elliott of Thomaston; three nephews, Stanley (Dale) Elliott, Jerry Elliott and Terry (Bonnie) Elliott, all of Thomaston; great nieces and nephews Kelly Rivera, Casey Elliott, Jay (Kelli) Elliott, Dusty (Jennifer) Elliott, Cristy (Justin) Cook, Anna Elliott, and Tyrone Elliott, all of Thomaston; and several great great nieces and nephews.
