She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Sherlock, and nephew, Mathew Brewer.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wallace Brewer; son, Shane Brewer and wife, Peggy; mother, Mary Sherlock; and brothers, Harold Jr., William and Don Sherlock; as well as one granddaughter, Amanda Brewer.
Connie was best known for her ceramics, and she loved flower gardening and raising house plants. She was also especially fond of watching the Pink Panthers play softball.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Cope Memorial Chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at Sunrise Christian Church with Vernon Hollit officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jimi Charlton, Kirk Sherlock, Paul Brewer, John Valdez, Bryan Bizzell and Jacob Arenas. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Gathings, Mason Henderson, Paul Hughes and Christopher Gathings.
