Thomas E. Bowman, 62, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009.
Mr. Bowman was born in Rossville, Ga., to Orbie and Eunice Bowman. He was a nuclear welding engineer at Combustion Engineering and was a member of Tiftonia Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Bowman.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Delga Bowman; daughter, Kendra and her husband, Carlis Knight; son, Anthony, and his wife, Brenda Bowman, all of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Kalen and Michaela Knight, Courtney, Michael, and Matthew Bowman, and A.J. Brown; one sister, Barbara Bradley; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Parker, Assistant Pastor Troy Lawson, and Brother Dallas Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
