Robert Phillip (Bobby) Koch, 76, died Nov. 19, 2003, at his home in Kerrville.
Services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville with Rev. David C. Chancellor officiating. Interment followed at Garden of Memories Ceme-tery in Kerrville.
Koch was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Fredericksburg, the son of Emil and Thekla Herbort Koch. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II and graduated from Schreiner Institute and Texas A&I University in Kingsville.
He worked for Stanolind Oil and Gas until he moved to Kerrville. He and his brother, Henry, owned and operated Bann-Kerr Tobacco and Candy Company until 1985.
Koch is survived by his wife, Jeannine; his brother, Phillip Koch and his wife, Margaret; his sister, Betty Birck and her husband, Kenneth, of Wichita Falls; his sister-in-law, Lou Koch, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Kermit Koch and Henry Koch, and a sister, Dorothy Reichenau.
