Milton L. Sharp, age 84, of Brookville, Indiana, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at his residence.
Born January 6, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Lee & Rose (Gillespie) Sharp. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. On April 22, 1950 he was united in marriage to the former Shirley Schleicher, and she survives.
He was a retired truck driver, and a member of the Franklin County Antique Machinery Club.
Besides Shirley, his wife of nearly 63 years, survivors include six children, Timothy Sharp of Brookville, Indiana; Sandra Sharp of Brookville, Indiana; Susan (Brent) Sharp-Grubbs of Cincinnati, Ohio; Karen (John) Patterson of Brookville, Indiana; David (Tamara) Sharp of Brookville, Indiana and Michael Sharp of Brookville, Indiana; six grandchildren, Anna Lee, Timothy, Kaylynn, Emily, Chelsea, Katelyn; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters Betty Minniear of Punta Gorda, Florida and Jerri Bebe of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Rev. Freddy Helton will officiate the Private visitation & funeral services at the convenience of the family on Monday, January 21, 2013, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
