Cause of death: pneumonia at Valley Memorial Hospital in Livermore.

Parents: George Robert (now residing in Santa Cruz, California) & Marjorie Ann Wilson (deceased 11/2013) .

Sister: Becky Denise Wilson, b. 06/30/68, now residing in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

Brother of Barry James Wilson (deceased 11/2011).

Dad said when they put Robbie & Barry to bed that night, Robbie seemed to have mild cold symptoms. When dad got up during the night, he went in the boys shared bedroom & Robbie appeared to be having difficulty breathing. They bundled up both boys & went to Livermore Valley Memorial Hospital ER. The hospital did tracheotomy surgery & advised it was 50/50 outcome. Dad drove Mom & 2 year old Barry home & returned to the hospital. He was not happy that the nurse sitting in the room monitoring seemed elderly & dis-interested. At some point the monitors started going off. Dad went racing down the hallways screaming for a doctor. Returned to the room & no one was there. Raced @ the hallways again. When he returned again, the nurse & a doctor she summoned were present. The doctor gave Robbie a shot of adrenalin straight to the heart. That seemed to bring his heart back but just for just a couple of beats.
