Zachary Edward Williams, 17, of Jonesboro, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at his home.

Born in Newport, Arkansas on March 30, 1996, he was the son of Vince Williams and Tina Stigall.

He attended Cave City High School and was a senior at Nettleton High School in Jonesboro where he was a straight "A" student. He was a kind-hearted person who enjoyed fishing, rap music, and new country music. He played football both at Cave City and Nettleton. He worked at the Dairy Queen in Jonesboro.

Survivors include his father, Vince Williams and his wife, Jane of Jonesboro; his mother, Tina Stigall and her husband, Joshua of Cave City; a brother, Joshua Williams of Jonesboro; a half-sister, Madison Wagster of Cave City; four step-sisters: Christin Grooms and Sue Ellen Simpson both of Paragould, Madison Stigall and Bailey Stigall both of Cave City; paternal grandparents: Tommy and Mary Williams of Jonesboro; maternal grandparents: Charles St. John of Cave City and Elaine Townsley of Searcy; maternal great-grandparents: Raymond St. John of Cave City and Geneive Wheeler of Searcy; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: T.W. and Wanda Williams, James and Mary Bourland, Arnold Wheeler, and Dorothy St. John.

Pallbearers will be Brett Dodds, Bladen Croslin, Matt Brown, Devin Burns, Dalton Creekmore, Travis Markum, Toby Williams, and Cody Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Burns, Chad Davis and Josh Williams.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Cave City with Rev. John Miles officiating.

Burial will follow at Maxville Cemetery in Cave City under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
