Mrs. Amy Vandervort Walters, age 44, of Greenfield Lane, Wilkesboro died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home.
The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 on Friday, November 11, 2011.
Mrs. Walters was born in Mercer Co. PA, on October 28, 1967, to Hughes and Judith Foulk Vandervort.
Mrs. Walters is survived by two devoted, loving sons, Daniel Keith Walters, Jr. and wife, Lenia Perez of Roaring River and Dustin Paul Walters and wife Megan Aghabalian of Wilkesboro; her mother, Judith Foulk Vandervort of Wilkesboro; her father, H. Hughes Vandervort and step mother, Gretchen of Hays; two sisters, Janice Lynn Vandervort and Dara Wittenberg both of Delray Beach, FL; one brother, John Hughes Vandervort and wife, Deborah of Wilkesboro and son, Jason Kilby; The two lights of her life grandsons, Ronald Perez Walters and Nathan Hughes Walters will remember her as a loving, devoted grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice or the Wilkes Humane Society, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
