Jerry G Eldridge, 59 of Laurel died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Jones County Rest Home in Ellisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Ellisville First Assembly Of God in Ellisville, with Rev. Kenny Morris , Rev. Andy Stringfellow, and Rev. Roy Crouch officiating. Burial will be in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Ellisville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 601-477-3797 Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Ellisville First Assembly Of God . Mr. Eldridge was an active member of First Assembly of God of Ellisville where he served as a board member and as a Royal Rangers Leader. He was retired from Howard Industries where he worked as a machinist. Mr. Eldridge was preceded in death by his parents, D.C.and Mary Emma Saxton Eldridge and brother, Doyle Eldridge, Jr. Survivors Include his wife, Margaret Eldridge; daughters, Amanda Morris (Jason) Ellisville, Allison Brownlee (Jamie) Ellisville; brothers,Sam Eldridge (Doris) Stringer, Joe Eldridge (Faye) Soso, Kenny Eldridge (Sharon) Pigeon Forge, TN; sister, Faye Hunnell (James); grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan and Emma Grace Morris Serving as pallbearers are Scott Morris, Joey McRee, Kevin Hunnell, Ray Freeman, Donald Windham , Paul Sheffield Honorary Pallbearers will be James Hunnell , Joe Eldridge, Sam Eldridge and Kenny Eldridge.
