The funeral of Charles Ash, 86, Taylor, Mich., formerly of Fayette County, will be held Wednesday afternoon at the White House Funeral White House, Ohio.
Burial will be in the White Memorial Park.
Ash died at his home 11 a.m. Sunday after a illness.
He was a former coal operator at Sunset, near Sun. and Dungien, near Thurmond, a postmaster at Glen Jean and had a minister for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ash; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Ruth) Kelly, Ohio, Mrs. William (Ruby) Hickman, Mount Hope, and Mrs. Susan Walters Florida, three sons, Daniel, Samuel and Simon, all of Toledo; a stepson, Joe Harvey, Glen Jean; three sisters, Mrs. C.H. (Annie ) Ellison and Mrs. Paul (Sophia) Lam, both Oak Hill, and Mrs. Bertha Donaldson, Naples, Fla.; two brothers, Harrison, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Isaac Ash, Detroit; grandchild great-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
