After a short illness of appendicitis, George Lombard, son of William Lombard of Beekmantown, died on Thursday of this week at Camp Gordon, Georgia. He was a member of Battery E, 320th Field Artillery, National Army, and was twenty-seven years of age. He is survived by his father, four brothers, Guy of Beekmantown; William of Burlington, VT; Claude of Detroit, MI, and Roy of Beekmantown. He also leaves
three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Lampkins of Detroit, MI; Mrs. Clara Haylett and Miss Sou Lombard both of Beekmantown.
