LaVerne R. Cole (Dick) passed away on May 22, 2012 at the age of 84 (in Arizona). He was born on September 8, 1927 in Durand, Michigan to Ray and Irene Cole. On March 1, 1952 Dick married the love of his life, Leota (Beauty) Luchenbill. Together they had six children: Chris Cole, Tom Cole (Irene), Gayann Cole, Bob Cole (Laura), Bill Cole and Dan Cole (Barbara) and was blessed with 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Dick retired from General Motors on February 1, 1985 after 31 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Grace and loving wife Leota (Beauty). A memorial service will be held at 11am, Monday, June 25, 2012 at Gaines United Methodist Church, 117 W. Clinton St., Gaines, MI 48436. Internment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Vernon, Michigan. Please join us for a luncheon in the church basement following the graveside service.
