Brenda worked in the appliance departments for Gamble's and Lowe's, both in Sedalia. She was a knowledgeable and talented saleswoman and achieved numerous top sales awards at both stores.
Brenda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. She was very involved in her son, Zackery's sporting and Jr.ROTC activities, as well as the activities of her nieces and nephews.They were the center and loves of her life. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially cooking and BBQ'ing. Brenda was loved by her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, James, Brenda is survived by her son, Zac; 2 sisters, Rini Goodman and her husband, Don, of Sedalia and Rose Saint and her husband XXXXX, of Albertville, AL; 3 brothers, Robert Schlup and his wife, Connie, of Sedalia, Kenneth Schlup and his wife, Cathy, of Sedalia and Lloyd Schlup and his wife, Susie, of St. Louis; 2 nieces, Jill Estes and Maleena Hampton; 4 nephews, J.R. Schlup, Bobby Schlup, David Schlup and Derrick Goodman; 5 great nieces, Karlee Schlup, Cassie Schlup, Shelby Hampton, Kayla Hampton and Kayley Goodman; 3 great nephews, Sidney Schlup, Ethan Hampton and Jackson Goodman, and many close and loving friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda's memorial service will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. There will be a private burial later.
