Funeral services for Wanda Lou (Farr) Owen, 87, of Webbers Falls, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City with Kendell George officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls.
Wanda was born May 24, 1926 in Okmulgee, OK, the daughter of Clifford Leon and Marjorite (Turner) Farr and died Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Muskogee. She grew up in Okmulgee county, attended Roosevelt Grade School, and graduated from Preston High School/ Marjorite played on both the basketball and softball teams. On September 7, 1947 she married Jack Owen.
Survivors include her children, Dianna Newburn and husband, Dale, of Newalla, Donald Owen of Webbers Falls, Richard Owen of Blanchard, Jackie Lynn Eaton and husband, Stan, of Weatherford, Ronald Owen of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Chris, Larry, Kendell, Shannon, Ronnyee Michelle, Tracie, Billy, Rick, Maxie, Rodney, Eldon, Lori, and Windy; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Longstreath, Wilda Kelse and husband, Monte; brother, Charles Farr and wife, Sue; aunt, Ruby Ranson; cousins, Jeannette Kanada and husband, Richard, Bruce Giboney and wife, Barbara.
