Emma Stanley, 79, died 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, in Blair Ridge Health Care.
She was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Mexico to the late Otto and the late Nellie (Ammerman) Lesley. She married James "Sarge" Stanley Nov. 17, 1952, and he preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1988.
Survivors include a son, James Brett "Tiny" Stanley of Earlville, Ill.; a brother, Norman Lee Lesley of Columbia City; and two sisters, Lucille Huddleston of Peru and Norma Gearhart of Logansport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kent L. Stanley.

Funeral is 1 p.m. Monday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 W. Third St., with Pastor George McCarty officiating. Burial is in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
