"CAPTAIN BENJAMIN NYE (Caleb, Nathan, Benjamin), born at Sandwich, Mass., April 18, 1735. He married Susan Phinney and lived in Barre, Mass. His wife died September 16, 1822, and he died May 27, 1816..."
He served in the Revolutionary army. The book contains substantial detail of his service which would be needed for SAR or DAR memberships.
