Mr. Cook was born Jan. 27, 1920 in Coweta County.
Services were held Sept. 26 in the memorial chapel of Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home with the Rev. J. T. Coleman officiating. Interment followed at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frank Tucker, Ned Sims, Marion Prather, Harvey Brooks Sr., Thomas Kendricks and Harvey Elom.
Survivors include one daughter of Newnan; son, Matthew Partridge of Atlanta; relatives including Ms. Fannie Ruth Henry of Newnan, Mrs. Martha McBride of Decatur, Johnny B. Henry of Newnan; and friends, including Ms. Lunette Gould, Jeremiah Robinson of Newnan.
