82, of Alton Street, Huntersville, NC, died Sept. 8, 1996, at his residence.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 1996, at St. Marks Episcopal Church, Charlotte, with Rev. William Todd officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 1996, at Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home, Huntersville.
A native of Mecklenburg County, Mr. Blythe was a retired chief electrical inspector from Mecklenburg County and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church and the Long Creek Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include sons, Chuck Blythe of Trenton, NC, and Jimmy Blythe of Denver, NC; daughters, Ms. Beverly Blythe and Ms. Mary Blythe, both of Charlotte, Mrs. Debbie Allen of Huntersville and Mrs. Nancy Harding of Matthews, NC; brothers, Walton Blythe of Huntersville and William Blythe of Charlotte; and sisters, Mrs. Inez Burkheardt of Charlotte and Mrs. Kathryn Mullis of Huntersville, NC.
