Mildred "Aileen" Sowell, 75, of Turlock, passed away at Emanuel Medical Center after a short illness. Aileen was born in Chadwick, Missouri to Kelly and Rachel Hurd. She married as a young woman after moving to California. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Aileen was preceded in death by her parents and her son William Lawrence (Larry) Neal Jr.
She is survived by three children: Mark and Robert Neal and Leslie Sowell; three siblings: Anna Hibma, Ellen Brockett and John Hurd; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her greatly.
