Obituary for Max Hicks

The funeral service for Max L Hicks, age 62 will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev John McLemore will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-7:30. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Max was born October 18, 1947 in Enid, OK to Lloyd and Genevieve (Todd) Hicks and died August 13, 2010 in Ponca City, OK. He graduated from Enid High School, being a member of the Enid High School Band.

He served in the US Air Force in Viet Nam from 1970-1974. He loved to hunt and fish and being around family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Brian Hicks, Grant Hicks and wife Christine; one grandchild; brother, Dale Hicks and his wife Ruth Ann and wife, Ginger Hicks.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Diabetes Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
