Heart Attack Fatal To Ezra Follett, 76
The body of Ezra Follett, 76, Willola, who died Saturday at Calgary, Alberta, will arrive at Lewiston tomorrow, Brower-Wann funeral directors said yesterday.
Death was attributed to a heart ailment. He had been in ill health the last several years. Mr. Follett and his family were vacationing at the time of his death.
He was born at Joplin, Mo., Dec. 5, 1871 and came west to Genesee in a covered wagon in 1880. His parents made their home there until 1904. He then purchased a store at Willola, and operated the postoffice and a ferry until the bridge was constructed at Lenore.
Mr. Follett married Amy Smethers [Smathers] July 3, 1916 at Lewiston. He was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include his widow, a son, David, and five daughters, Laurel, residing at home; Naomi Sellew [Sewell], Lewiston Orchards; Mrs. Esther Andrews, Washington, D. C.; Mary Ellen Follett, attending the University of Idaho at Moscow, and Nadine Tripplett, Walla Walla.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
