GILMER - Services for Mrs. Jo Nell Ford, 94, of Gilmer, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Holland Atchley officiating and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Mrs. Ford passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011, in Longview.
She was born November 29, 1916, in Coolidge, Texas, to William John and Vesta Ward Goeke and graduated from Coolidge High School. Mrs. Ford was an accounts receivable representative at Merck Pharmaceuticals until her retirement in 1979 and she attended New Way Country Church.
Mrs. Ford is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Linda Spruiell of Gilmer; sisters, Juanita Spruiell of Fredericksburg, Texas, Billie Holland of Waco, Texas, and Judy Matthews of Kilgore; grandchildren, Stacey Myers and her husband Craig and Shelley Whatley and her husband Scott; and great-grandchildren, Michael and Joshua Myers and Lindy and Logan Whatley.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011, at the funeral home.
