Helen Ryan, 91, of The Villages, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2013 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Born in Randolph, Vermont, Mrs. Ryan moved to The Villages from Grosse Pointe, MI in 1999. She was retired. Helen attended St. Timothy Catholic Church. She enjoyed golf, sewing, and tennis. Mrs. Ryan is survived by four daughters, Patricia Ryan, Hilton Head Island, SC; Constance "CoCo" Zittin, Jacksonville, FL; Sharon Black, Dryden, NY; Karen Light, St. Clair Shores, MI; son, Thomas M Ryan, Yarmouth, ME; two sisters. Hilda Burns, Dearborn, MI; Rosemary Draves, Akron, OH; her companion, Ronald Rayl, The Villages, FL; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages. Inurnment will be held in Six Oaks Cemetery on Hilton Head Island, SC.
