MICHAEL ABAD

Michael W. Abad, age 55, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006. He was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Honolulu, to Orlino and Dorothy Abad, and resided in Las Vegas for over three years.

Michael lived in Hawaii for over 50 years, and was a 1970 graduate of Waianae High School. He had a love for fishing and always had a fishing story. He was always willing to help, and deeply loved both generations of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his three brothers, Allen Abad of Arizona, Robert Abad of Waiane, Hawaii, Myron Abad of Las Vegas; his two sisters, Winona Graves of Las Vegas, and Joan Kealiinohomoku of Las Vegas; as well as 18 nieces and nephews; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. For additional information please call 702-581-4863. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society . Arrangements by Hites Funeral Home.
