Nancy Ruth Robertson Lowery, age 92 of DeFoor Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Sara's Place.
A daughter of the late John Lester and Olive Mae Owens Robertson, she was born November 12, 1921 in Gaffney, South Carolina having living most of her life in Toccoa. She was a homemaker and a member of The Pointe Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Monroe Lowery in 1981, by three sons, Paul, Leland and John Lowery, two brothers, D.B. and Wilbert Robertson and by two sisters, Hellen Webb and Gertrude Beach.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Patricia Lowery of Toccoa, Georgia; daughters-in-law, Jean Lowery of Martin, Georgia and Elaine Lowery of Hollywood, Georgia; eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 3, 11 O'clock AM at The Pointe Church of God with the Reverend Dennis Rafala and Mr. Charlie Pitts officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of Frank and Patricia Lowery, DeFoor Road, Toccoa, Georgia and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM until 8:30 PM.
Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jerry Chitwood officiating.
