PADEN-Reba Mays Paden, age 94, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on January 1, 2014. Reba was born on August 28, 1919 to Walter and Ola Simpson Mays. Reba is survived by 4 children and their spouses: Wayne & Paulette King, Pat & Ralph Orr, Mary Lynn & Steve Miller and Cathrine Bonds; Daughter-in-law Penny Paden. Reba's surviving family includes 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by husbands: Howard A. King and Harold J. Paden, Sr.; 3 children: Elaine Payne, Harold (Buck) Paden, Jr., and Michael G. Paden; 6 brothers and 3 sisters: Mamie Allen, Winford Mays, W. H. Mays, Iva Boles, Simpson Mays, Irene Morrow, Edwin Mays, Ralph Mays, and Charles Mays. Reba was a graduate of Suwanee High School and member of Lawrenceville Church of God. Reba never retired from her job as "Nana" of her large family and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2 PM in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Burial at Shadowlawn Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Tim Stewart Funeral Home 300 Simonton RD, SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
