Hilda Mae (Borror) Kesner, age 80 of Dorcas, WV passed away January 2, 2014 at Grant Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 10, 1933 in Smoke Hole, WV and was a daughter of the late Arthur W. "Taft" Borror and Minnie R. (George) Borror.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Kesner on March 15, 2012; five brothers, Roland Borror, Bruce Borror, Doris G. "Bunt" Borror, and two infant brothers.
Mrs. Kesner was a former employee of the Grant County Nursing Home and later retired from Hanover Shoes in 1994. She was a member of Hedrick Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Kesner is survived by three sons, Louis W. (Linda) Kesner , Nicky L. Kesner and Charles M. Kesner and grandson, Rodney P. Kesner all of Dorcas, WV; one daughter, Zoe (Daniel) Nesslerodt of Petersburg, WV; two brothers, Leo (Sherry) Borror of Exmore, VA and Douglas (Linda) Borror of Petersburg, WV; five sisters, Shirley (Roger) Cook of Maysville, WV, Phyllis Shook of Petersburg, WV, Ruth Keplinger of Petersburg, WV, Wanda (John) Ellis of Petersburg, WV and Patsy (Rudy) Parker of Petersburg, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday 6 – 8 p. m. at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Funeral service will be Sunday 1 p.m. (Jan. 5, 2014) at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg with Rev. William R. Brown and Rev. Richard L. Longbon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, WV
