Pamela Andrews, loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away to our Lord on Saturday, December 28 in Marin County. She was born April 23, 1946 in Sacramento and lived with her family in Arden Oaks, graduating from El Camino High School in 1964 and subsequently from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1968. She lived for the past several years in Woodacre, California where she worked as a district manager for Farmers Insurance until her retirement in 2012. She loved animals and gardening, but most of all spending time with her family and many friends; all of whom were very dear to her. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Joanne and George Andrews and her sister, Diane (Andrews) Athanasiou of Sacramento. She is survived by her brother, Peter Andrews of Los Angeles; brother-law, George Athanasiou of Sacramento, nephew and niece, Ilias Athanasiou of Sacramento and Joanne (Athanasiou) Johnson and husband, Darrell of San Luis Obispo; grand twin nephews, Michael and Nicholas Johnson and grandniece, Katherine Johnson of San Luis Obispo; Aunt Georgia Dariotis of Sacramento; cousins, George, Chris and Michael Dariotis and Rhea (Dariotis) Brunner of Sacramento, Fred Twyman of Charlottesville. Virginia, Sallie (Twyman) Sims of Charlottesville, Bebe (Twyman) Munigle of Hartford, Connecticut and Peter Karabinis of Truckee, California; godson, Michael Lutz of Fairfield, California; friends Sally Lovell, Dan Scarola and Dianna Lightfoot, and many others who, although not related, considered themselves family because her incredible warm nature and desirable quality of making them want to share a bond of love that would bring them closer to her heart and her life. May her memory be eternal.

Family and friends are invited to the Trisagion on Tues., January 7 at 7 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA. The funeral will be held on Wed., January 8 at 12 pm at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 600 Alhambra Blvd., Sacramento, CA. Interment at East Lawn Memorial Park.
